DEPTH CHARTS FEATURE - What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said before GAREON CONLEY made the Oakland Raiders' depth chart: Ohio State, 6000 195 . Junior entry from Massillon, OH. Two-year starter who played in 41 games. Second-team All-Big 10 in 2016. Shows a physical nature and presence at the point of attack. Goes after the ball hard and is often the winner in 50/50 situations. Can physically overpower receivers. Can read routes and react quickly to the ball. Good instincts. Has the right mix of short area burst and long speed. Disciplined downfield, works hard to stay in position while keeping his hands off. Very good press corner with good hand placement. Quick to turn and run. Mirrors cuts well. Good job with press and bail. Adjusts speed to maintain cushion. Good eye discipline in man and zone. Good recovery ability. Sticks his foot in the ground and drives hard on the ball. Good ball skills. Can improve in run support. Inconsistent aggression as a tackler. Struggles to maintain his balance, speed and control when tracking the deep pass. Can be beat on double move routes at times. A tall, very long, and more than fast enough cover corner who has the potential to excel on the outside. Has as much upside as any cornerback in this class. Very few match-ups give him trouble but he will need to develop the mental side of the game. Can be fooled and he’s shown a consistent struggle defending the deep ball, but if he can shore those up he has upper tier starter written all over him. 2016 stats: 26 T, 4 INT, 8 PBU. BTR:left , right . OSR:7/35. First round. (A-33, H-9 1/2, VJ-37, SS-).
